TENETS OF FAITH (WHAT WE BELIEVE)
The church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practices and, for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts the following statements of fundamental truths as our Tenets of Faith:
"We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God."
"We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
"We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His person, visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought Church, that we may be with Him forever."
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ."
"We believe that salvation comes via Romans 10: 9 and 10 [T]hat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead thou shalt be saved. [F]or with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
"We believe that the redemptive work of Jesus Christ provides healing of the human body, including the healing of the mind and emotions.""We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4.
"We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation."
